Fair Isle Knitting Class...Part II

Who remembers my Fair Isle Knitting class...
the one I posted about here?

Well much to my surprise, I finished my hat yesterday.

This is the first hat I knitted that followed a pattern,
where I worked with three colors of yarn at the same time.
This was not easy at first,
but I really got the hang of it, just as I finished up.

 No worries though...

the knitting basket is full of yarn and lots of idea's.

Now one more look at the
"Basic Norwegian Star Hat"
I love looking at it and I must say I am a little bit proud,
just a little!!

Sharing today's entry with

Stop by and say Hi!!
There are lot's are very talented and creative people there!!

I love Fair Isle--what does the inside of the hat look like?
Mine is always a kind of mess with all the yarn color changes.

Hi Judy, the inside is a little messy but the tension seems consistent and that's what I was hoping for!

I've always liked the Fair Isle pattern on sweaters, had never seen it on a hat. You did a great job!
