It is that time of year again,
time to put together the Summer Bucket List that will carry us through until fall.
I enjoy having these fun lists...
I do not make them with the goal of crossing all things out,
they are just for when we have a free day, and are not sure what we want to do,
we can always look to the list for a great idea.
Filled with all of our favorite things,
And for those who are wondering about the Winter Bucket List...
we did pretty well on it,
we did pretty well on it,
crossing off all but one, and we sure did have plenty of fun!
My little garden is doing so well and I would love to share some pictures.
I am always so excited to start with seeds, I find it to be so much more rewarding!

and I just started my Dill yesterday, I had trouble finding seeds.
If you remember from last year, the Dill will attract Black Swallowtail Caterpillars,
which I will bring indoors and raise until they emerge as butterflies and are ready to take flight.
I will need a lot of Dill to attract them and then to feed them.
Here and here are a few posts from last year
that share information about Dill and raising Black Swallowtail Butterflies.

Hello, you did really well with your winter bucket list. The summer list looks like lots of fun things to do. Your plants are looking good. Wishing you and yours a very happy and blessed Easter weekend!
Why not add helping out for a day at the food kitchen, visiting a shut-in senior, joining in a cleanup at your local wetland or creek, making chemo caps for cancer patients............it is good to give of yourself. The opportunities are endless.
hi david...the only thing you listed that my husband and i don't do regularly is work at a food kitchen. i have made many caps for chemo patients, especially when my aunt was receiving chemo and i sat with her for every treatment. i made her a cap, and i also made caps for most of her friends there. i continue to do that!! when i go to the beach to look for sea glass, i always bring a bag with me for garbage - it is something i always do!! my husband and i take care of our mom's 81 and 85, mine is almost blind, we do so much for both of them. any extra time we have, we spend with our mom's right now. i cook food for my mom every week because she is still living at home, alone, she would like to do that for as long as she can! my aunt passed away but i spent a tremendous amount of time with her before she died. the list is suppose to be about fun things...the things you mentioned are great, but they are things we do regularly.
i do not use my blog to boast about the things we do for others. those acts of kindness are things i do without thinking about them. i have paid for peoples food orders when they realized they left there wallet at home...given flowers to the girl in line behind me when she commented about how much she loved them. i paid for them and then handed them to her.....i am pretty proud about the way i live my life!!
Looks like a fun list, Debbie. Enjoy!
Lists tend to make you do things you don't want to do that minute...so I avoid them.
(just saying)
Ooh girl, you are going to have a lot of cucumbers! Do you make pickles? I can taste them now! I have such a black thumb, the only thing I can grow is weeds. Have a happy Easter!
Always enjoy your Bucket Lists, and your seedlings are looking great!
I love your Bucket Lists!
Your Bucket Lists are always fun. I see you have already ticked off the Kite Festival and Cherry Blossom Festival. =) You know, the best thing about your bucket list for me, is being able to enjoy the amazing photos you share of each fun activity. You have an amazing talent with that camera of yours and your beautiful photos are always a joy to gaze upon. Love the sight of all those seedlings. They look as if they are 'steaming' ahead.
hi terri, i do not make pickles and i am not a pickle lover!! we do eat a lot of cucumber sandwiches, and cucumber and tomato salads. we LOVE cuc's and i am hoping for a big harvest!!!
Nice to see your Bucket Lists :)
I am just so pleased that your little garden is doing so well, thank you for sharing all of your photographs.
Happy growing!
All the best Jan
Looks like you have a good start on your garden for the summer.I set my empty pots in place today. Does that count?
In the meantime...have a warm peaceful Easter!
I always like reading your bucket list and then seeing how you fulfill it. You two do have fun. My life seems very dull in many respects but it's good. I should make at least a little list and we would probably do more things. We mainly just travel for family events. I have three grandchildren graduating soon so that will be fun.
You are an inspiration when starting a garden. I'm hoping we get a small one this year. Then I always enjoy your mothering those caterpillars that turn into the gogerous butterfly s. Sending Happy thoughts your way and hugs!
I really need to make a bucket list for this year - I'm not sure why I have a hard time with that!?!?! Yours looks like fun and will be a great way to spend some free time. Your plants look awesome! I remember your butterflies - what care you took!
Knitting friends pool party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doing a happy dance!!!
The garden is looking really nice! I'm anxious to see the results! I hope you do as well on your summer bucket list as you did on your winter one!
