Excellent photography Debbie. In my part of the world Monarchs have become a rare sight.
Wow Debbie! Gorgeous captures of the Monarch! Enjoy your day and new week!
A Monarch is always a welcome sight. We have not had as many this year as we have in previous years but have been able to retrieve several eggs from the milkweed in our back yard and are raising them indoors.
Perfect butterflies. Perfect flowers and perfect photos!
ooooh that's great david, i have been raising black swallowtails indoors for several years. one monarch last year it is so fun...doing our part!! they sure do eat a lot!!
i have lots of dill in the backyard, and i too, am hoping for some eggs!!!
Such magnificent creatures! Fabulous photos!
Love your photos Debbie. You have captured the monarchs beautifully on those pretty coneflowers.
Amazing photos! So much detail in each and every one. I went to the park with the intention of taking butterfly pics and got a few but I will need to sharpen them! lol Enjoy your day!
My favorite butterflies! Such beautiful captures of them.
Great pictures!

so bootiful
I love flutterbys
Hi Debbie: We also have five Giant Swallowtails ready to emerge any day now. We had one Black Swallowtail and the caterpillar seemed to be perfectly healthy and was eating well but one day we found it dead on the floor of the cage.
Rue seems to be the food of choice for the swallowtails in our yard.
What a pity we cannot enjoy that beauty in Finland!
So very beautiful, Debbie. It's like a gift of beauty! :)
xoxo

Gorgeous! I like the Monarchs! Your flowers are beautiful, too!
I noticed on your comment on another blog that you have MS. Me too. It is a beast some days. Love the ephemeral beauty of your Monarchs and the flowers.
