It's January...

Yesterday I opened up my new calendar for 2018 from
Longwood Gardens.
It's crisp, clean and beautiful, January will be uneventful.
Only one doctor appointment, one birthday,
I sent my nephew his birthday card, and we have no special events.
I could not decide if I was happy or sad.
I loved the look of the calendar,
as I stared at it, I wondered what adventures were waiting for us in 2018.
I wondered if the year could possibly be any better than this past year.
We had a great year, I don't focus on the negatives, of course there were some,
but I remember all the wonderful times I had this year.
One stand out event this past year, my first ever girls trip...I had such an amazing time.

A fresh new year is upon us once again...a new beginning, a fresh start...
a time to be thankful for the blessings of the past year...
a time to reflect upon all of our achievements.
2018 is here, let's vow to be kind, giving, brave, happy...adventurous.

And remember, this is the beginning of anything you want...
it's your year to sparkle!!

Sue clings to the paper calendar tradition. I just use Google Calendar. But yeah, it's not pretty. :)

Good for you! It doesn't help to focus on the negatives...unless it's to improve, but otherwise no.

I have four bdays this month and one dr. apt. I really loved the holidays and enjoyed the decorations. I have managed to get most all my decorations put up. Just have to wait till the temps warm up before I go take lights down.
