Christmas Lights and Store Windows

Each Christmas Season we drive through a few nearby towns to look at
Christmas Light Displays.
We buy hot cocoa, we have a map and a list of each towns best displays.
We never got to do that this year, although we have seen
and photographed many in our everyday travels!

I'll share what I have, from our unofficial, random, drive arounds.
First up - the painted store windows I found.
I froze my butt off...
(don't you wish that was really possible)
taking these pictures so I "must" share and you "must" enjoy!!

Next are some from the town in which we live that we pass all of the time.

This was simple and really beautiful!

The next 5 images are from the outdoor display we saw at Longwood Gardens,
I don't think I ever shared these.

This is my back deck, we put lights here every year so that I can see and enjoy them!
Here they are covered in snow!

Since the boys are gone,
there are no more lights in the front of the house.
Covered in snow,
I think the house looks beautiful!

I think your house looks beautiful, too! Lol - yes - if only freezing our butts off was truly possible! I love the painted store windows - for not making any special trips, you still enjoyed some great displays!

Aside from that one house that I posted from Christmas Eve, I stayed inside for the most part as the temperatures have been brutal, especially at night.

Your home is beautiful!!! I used to have many lights outside and Nativity scene all lit up and lights in the trees and every bush. Now, I seem to enjoy seeing the simple rather than the gaudy some displays have become.

such neat painted store windows, and oh my those houses look awesome, we didn't get around much to see lights this year.
Your home looks so pretty in the snow! I don't know when our lights will come down, depending on these below 0 temps. Ever since we had our colds when we go out in the cold weather we get coughing bad.

Your house does look beautiful. When we lived in Spokane our backdeck had lights and I loved it when it snowed on them. We reallly haven't had a real snowstorm here yet; which is a little worrisome.
I enjoyed the painted windows; lovely. You were able to see some awesome yards too. I think next year we will go to our Temple Square and I will photograph it. It is famous for it's Christmas lights.
Blessings and hugs!
