The needles are no longer attached to the wrap...
you read that right,
it's done, finished, completed...off the needles and I am thrilled with the finished piece.
Knitted & Purled stitches only, in just the right way, creates these beautiful patterns.
The Guernsey Wrap
knitted with Undyed Baby Alpaca Yarn,
it is a whopping 62 inches long.
My "live a life you love" book.
The book is signed by it's designer,
I am going to keep track of all my knitting projects in this book.
Hats...there are a lot more on page 2, 40 in total.
My needles have already starting spinning again,
I started a hat that I would like to finish before Christmas.
It can be done!

You should be really pleased that is amazing. A fantastic job you did. Love the color and I love the stitch.
Beautiful work, Debbie. It is a treasure!
Your wrap is absolutely beautiful! I love the different patterns! I'm not a big fan of knitting, I crochet a lot, but this piece is wonderfully made! God bless you!
It is so beautiful Debbie, I love it! You did a great job. I also loved yesterday's post.......oh my goodness all that delicious looking food had my mouth watering! You are a great cook! I love your recipes and seeing pictures of how you make things.
That is gorgeous! I admire your ability!
The wrap looks lovely.
Congrats!! That looks just fantastic, I know how good that must feel! good luck on getting that hat done by Christmas.
Well done! Love it.
Do I remember correctly that you only started knitting a couple of years ago? This is gorgeous- give yourself a big pat on the back!
I love this wrap. Thank you for putting it on Ravelry. How technical was it? Probably just keeping track of where you were. Was the pattern in symbols or words? Sorry if it seems I'm grilling you. I am contemplating making this shawl myself.
It was beautiful Debbie 👏👌 and very hot for the winter.

hi sally, i have been knitting for 2.5 years and i found this pattern pretty easy to follow. it is not technical at all. knitting and purling only. the pattern was in words and if you can knit and purl, you can make this. i started this in early october and just finished it. it's long, and it takes a while but that's only because of the size. my email is stangs6@hotmail.com, if you have any other questions!! debbie
thank you carol, it was a joy to make. i am excited to gift it to the person it is intended for!! thank you for the kind comment!!
Debbie, it is absolutely GORGEOUS!
xo.
Oh. My, this is just so lovely! I would love it if you could model it for us all. Of course, I think you said it was gift so maybe you can't. It looks like you did a fantastic job. I would say you are a talented knitter. I love that you have a book to keep track of what you do.
Sending Christmas blessings and thought your way: hugs!
You are so good! Such perfect stitches.
Just looks fantastic.
All the best Jan
