Yarn Along

I started my Christmas knitting in January...I finished yesterday, with 7 days to spare.

I mailed the Guernsey Wrap Monday,
I can't describe with words the pride I felt as I wrapped the tissue paper around it!
I had already started my next project last week as I prepared my
Yarn Along post.
I had to rip it out as the circular needle I was using was too big.
I finally found the right needle while we were in Hershey.
There are so many knitting shops in the Lancaster area nearby.
I restarted it a few days ago...and much to my surprise, I finished it already.

This is the last piece I needed to finish before Christmas!
It's small and tight...
I am going to wash it in fabric softener and try to stretch it!
Next up, I'm not sure?
Perhaps I will start knitting for next Christmas - starting early, proved to be the way to go!!

Wonderful accomplishment, they look great, glad you were able to find the correct needles that worked!
I am still working on crochet wash cloths and I bought some homemade soap to go with them. Hand delivering to my friends on Sunday so need to get working on them, have one done, one almost done and the third to go and I will be done.

Hello, your knitting projects are beautiful. I guess you will be starting soon making gifts for next year. The hat is pretty, I love the blue color. Your wrap is just lovely too, well done. Have a happy day and week ahead. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

You do such great work, Debbie! These pieces are beautiful. Starting early sounds like a wise decision. I crocheted some infinity scarves for Christmas gifts and didn't start until mid November, then felt rushed because I had to finish in time to ship them. I hope in 2018 to improve my knitting skills. Merry Christmas!

You should take great pleasure in your knitting work. The shawl was so lovely and I can just imagine how you felt wrapping it to give to a loved one. I really liked the hat too. I love the colors. I had some crocheting I wanted to do this year and it didn't happen; so I maybe the clue is to start really earlier.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs your way!
