I started my Christmas knitting in January...I finished yesterday, with 7 days to spare.
I mailed the Guernsey Wrap Monday,
I can't describe with words the pride I felt as I wrapped the tissue paper around it!
I had already started my next project last week as I prepared my
Yarn Along post.
I had to rip it out as the circular needle I was using was too big.
I finally found the right needle while we were in Hershey.
There are so many knitting shops in the Lancaster area nearby.

This is the last piece I needed to finish before Christmas!
It's small and tight...
I am going to wash it in fabric softener and try to stretch it!
Next up, I'm not sure?

Perhaps I will start knitting for next Christmas - starting early, proved to be the way to go!!

Beautiful work, Debbie. Love both pieces!
Both are hits..........
Beautiful needlework! Your knitting talent will be appreciated, I'm sure, by both recipients. God bless you, Debbie, and have a merry and blessed Christmas!
So beautiful, Debbie. You are amazing!
xoxo
Wonderful accomplishment, they look great, glad you were able to find the correct needles that worked!
I am still working on crochet wash cloths and I bought some homemade soap to go with them. Hand delivering to my friends on Sunday so need to get working on them, have one done, one almost done and the third to go and I will be done.
I think you are ready for a Pi-shawl!
Hello, your knitting projects are beautiful. I guess you will be starting soon making gifts for next year. The hat is pretty, I love the blue color. Your wrap is just lovely too, well done. Have a happy day and week ahead. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
You've done so well, and I always enjoy how you present each piece.
Enjoy the Christmas Season.
My good wishes to you and your family.
All the best Jan
Debbie, Both are beautiful. I just returned from my local yarn shop. I need something to knit for our upcoming car trip.... a little surprise for my sweet Bonnie Rose. Hugs!
You do such great work, Debbie! These pieces are beautiful. Starting early sounds like a wise decision. I crocheted some infinity scarves for Christmas gifts and didn't start until mid November, then felt rushed because I had to finish in time to ship them. I hope in 2018 to improve my knitting skills. Merry Christmas!
So well done Debbie, there's nothing like handmade gifts and yours are gorgeous 😊
Looks like very good knitting to me!
Debbie you sure do have the knack of making the beautiful gifts. Anyone would be thrilled to receive those! I have a dear friend who knitted me two lovely scarves for Christmas last year, and I sure do treasure them!
Your wrap is incredible ! Lucky person who gets to recieve it! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

thank you carol!! wishing you a wonderful holiday season!!!
You should take great pleasure in your knitting work. The shawl was so lovely and I can just imagine how you felt wrapping it to give to a loved one. I really liked the hat too. I love the colors. I had some crocheting I wanted to do this year and it didn't happen; so I maybe the clue is to start really earlier.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs your way!
You make me smile. I love how happy knitting makes you. Your wrap is gorgeous!!! hope the hat stretched out!
Debbie, you are amazing, and truly such an inspiration to me.
Thank you!
I wish you and your family a very, very Merry Christmas.
xo.
