Saturday Critters #551

The Red Winged Blackbird is a really pretty bird,
if you know what you are listening for, you will hear it before you see it.

The red and yellow on the wings is brilliant.

This Red-Bellied Woodpecker was so busy pecking away at this tree.

This looks to be a male, he was successful in capturing a bug.

- this is a show I always enjoy watching -

Nice! I love to hear the red-wing blackbirds, and also the woodpeckers. Well, unless one is pecking on my house!

We have a pair of Redwings that have nested nearby so we hear them all the time but as you say, we don't see them a lot.
