Hobbies...

 Do you have a lot of hobbies?

I do, I have more than I need to have but enjoy every single one.

Leanne helped me fix the mistake I made in the sweater I am knitting during my last day at the farm.

 I came home and continued knitting with ease until I saw a word in the pattern that I did not understand.

Ooooooh these patterns, in knitting there are so many different stitches and techniques.

Lee said this is a technique I have never done, 

can't do on my own, and she will help me as soon as she can.

So because my hands can never be idle at night, I switched over to embroidery.

Liz was working on an embroidered piece at the farm and that reminded me I had a similar one half done. 

I was inspired to finish it!!

A sheep...with quite a large butt.

It looks quite weird but that was the pattern and I try not to focus on it, but it's big, right?

I finished it up pretty quickly,

I loved the way Liz had put the finishing touches on hers and decided do finish mine up the same way.

I had never done this before, 

it finished up on the cheap with embroidery thread only stitched around the wooden hoop...

it took forever but I really like the way it looks!

I am really fond of these kits, they come with everything you need.

The hoop, fabric, illustrated color and stitch guide, water soluble adhesive pattern, thread and needle.
The design is on water soluble adhesive that sticks to the fabric.

You stitch over it, then soak it in water and it dissipates from the fabric.

They also include an extra pattern if you want to do more than one.

I bought this kit at the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool festival last year and I have one more of an Alpaca.

I thought I would share their website here but it appears they do not have one.

I will look for their booth when I go this year, these kits are great!
