Snow Much Snow

The snow fell until about 3pm on Saturday.
When it stopped, everything was covered with a fresh blanket of crisp, white snow...

...a total of 19 inches had fallen...

I am so lucky to have a happy man behind a snowblower,
to clean up this massive amount of snow.

The clean up was difficult.
It was icy cold, the wind and snow were blowing about.

I stayed inside and made a Pot Roast, there were carrots too.
This was the perfect meal on a snowy day.

After dinner, the sun made an appearance and the day ended like this.
This view from my front door was breathtaking.

That is really some-kind-of-pocalypse! I hope your situation is comfortable, as suggested by the beauty of your evening sky.

Oh my goodness Debbie, THAT IS ALOT OF SNOW!!! wow! It's pretty. Looks like your caught the "blue hour" ooooops, the "pink hour"....the houses are blue and the sky is pink! I know they call it the "blue hour" and I love it when I catch it, but we always call it the "blue MINUTE" here, because it fades very very quickly, and NEVER LASTS a whole hour, ha ha!! LOL Hope y'all are staing warm!

I can just imagine the smile on your face after that snowfall!
Wow that sunset is just amazing, the glow of it just gorgeous, such a beautiful way to end the day.
Glad you guys have a snowblower that would be a lot of shoveling to do, we may get some this week, they are saying maybe 6 inches possibly more, nothing compared to what you got.

Beautiful! You got a significant amount. Glad Chuck has a snowblower, shoveling that would not be fun! We also had pot roast over the weekend.

Hello Debbie, I really can't imagine having so much snow. This must be unusual for you too. It looks beautiful when it's pristine. Your pink sky images are truly beautiful.
Keep warm. All the best.
