Six Flags - Safari

On Thursday, we took a drive to Six Flags - Great Adventure to enjoy the
Drive thru Safari.
In our own, private, safari vehicle = our car, we experienced the great outdoors at our own pace.
It was wonderful...
We saw a lot of babies and young animals, perhaps the animals way of "keeping busy" during quarantine.

Let's start off with the baby Emu...

The hubs had to count quick...these are busy little birds,
16 was the assumed total.

Buffalo - Bigger Horns

Baby Buffalo

Bison- Small Horns

Baby Bison

Longhorn Steer

The young steer was still nursing!

And I wish I had photographed all of the signs...

I only saw two young giraffe, and they were pretty big!

Of course we saw a lot more animals, these are the ones with babies or young-ins.

I really enjoyed taking this adventure with you. I love that you can do this in the comfort of your own car. The photos were spectacular as always. Your animal and bird photos are the best. I like the Emu and it's little family. You are right that they take care of their own well. I enjoyed learning a little more about the Giraffe.
Loved this one! Hugs~

That sounds like a fun place to visit, especially during the time when the young are around.

First time commenting on your blog :)

Wow, these are great pictures from your safari adventure! I had not seen baby emus before so that was fascinating to see the pictures of them!

Enjoyed reading some of your other posts. I too agree about Amazon. I think we were much richer before it LOL :) Love how convenient it is to order from them and return items if they didn't meet your expectations. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and we have an Amazon Fulfillment Center here. Back in December 2019 we took a tour of it. Amazing how they operate!

How can those emus be so tiny! Just amazing to see. As are all of the babies and parents.
