Yarn Along

It was cloudy and gloomy yesterday...the backyard was filled with Robins.
Trying to decide what to do...
taking pictures of the birds, it was too dark...
work, na...clean, na...
vacuum, the hubs did that already...
laundry, I did that yesterday...
knitting, hum, that sounds good, knitting won!

I am still working on my
Irish Hiking Scarf, knit with Cascade Yarn
50% Superfine Alpaca and 50% Peruvian Highland Wool.
This yarn is a joy to work with and I really love the neutral color, it will go with everything.
Last week it was 24 1/2 inches long, now it is 30" long.

My good friend Liz, who taught me to crochet, made me that fancy tape measure,
so I can measure things up.
Many thanks Liz, I use it all the time

I think I am going to start another Farm Girl Shawl,
so I have two projects to work on...the yarn I am planing to use is very colorful.
I'll alternate between projects, like a real knitter!

It looks so comfy! Gotta say, I love the mug because I am a cool Aunt.

"50% Peruvian Highland Wool"

Is that sheep's wool?

You are making great progress, I never could work on two projects at the same time, I would get confused on what stitches I am doing.
We have actually seen some sun the last couple of days, we have cloudy times but at least get to see some sun, that has been nice.
