The Male Downy Woodpecker

I don't have to rush to get my camera when this little guy lands in the tree outside my window.
He spends much of the day here with me.
Quietly sitting in the tree, just beyond the feeders...is he waiting for me to see him?
I know he sees me when I open the window, he seems almost tame, unfazed by my being there.

I snap away, he is relaxed and what a beautiful subject!

He winks at me...hehehe...even I don't believe that,
but none-the-less it is a sweet thought!

He is happy, well fed with plenty of water to drink!

We had another beautiful day yesterday, full sun and 61 degrees.
The sign on my front door says...

"Baby It's Cold Outside"
But it has not been cold all winter.
It may be time to switch that sign out, it's 23 days till spring...
but it feels like spring now!
How lucky are we, we've had a very mild winter for New Jersey!

Hello, Debbie! Your Downy is so cute. I have seen some birds not nervous around people, they must feel safe. Wonderful collection of photos. It was a beautiful day, we took a walk. Wishing you a happy day!

Beautiful! It's nice that you have time to get the photos rather than mere seconds before he's gone. Excellent light and details!

Oh he is too cute, have you named him? We call ours Bob, he visited our suet cage today :) He does very good at posing for you.
Our biggest snow came early this year in November, we have had some warm days but enough cold days too.
Yep I agree with you we should decorate for Easter and Spring, maybe it will come sooner!

Awwwwwwww--he's so cute! You can really see his feathers in the pictures, great close-ups! I loved seeing the seagull pictures the post before too. We like to wander around the piers too, and look at all the fishing boats, fun way to spend an afternoon.

You should see how my colleague Wesley Virgin's adventure starts in this shocking and controversial video.

Wesley was in the army-and shortly after leaving-he revealed hidden, "MIND CONTROL" secrets that the CIA and others used to obtain everything they want.

As it turns out, these are the same tactics lots of famous people (especially those who "come out of nothing") and elite business people used to become wealthy and famous.

You've heard that you only use 10% of your brain.

Mostly, that's because the majority of your brainpower is UNCONSCIOUS.

Maybe this thought has even taken place IN YOUR own brain... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's brain seven years back, while driving a non-registered, garbage bucket of a car without a driver's license and $3 in his bank account.

"I'm absolutely fed up with going through life payroll to payroll! When will I get my big break?"

You've been a part of those those conversations, isn't it so?

Your very own success story is going to happen. You need to start believing in YOURSELF.
