Autumn has been a no show around the Jersey Shore.
Until just recently, there has been almost no color in the trees.
We've been looking...
drives in the car in search of falls beautiful colors, have turned up empty.
On October 15th, we found a little color in Colts Neck...

and we found some really beautiful, well cared for horses as well.
Monday,
we found these pretty trees in Spring Lake while riding the bikes.
We also found more scarecrows in town,
I thought these were really well done.

Our last stop was to ride the bikes up to the beach to see the ocean,
yep, it's still there looking as lovely as always.

Just look at all those gorgeous colours of the trees. All those scarecrows are fabulously creative. How nice to hop on your bikes and pedal to the ocean and enjoy all that beauty.

I haven't been on the river lately...our cypress are probably turning a rust color.
I love the autumn colors...even the horses are the colors of Fall! And the scarecrows are such fun. How about those starfish! heehee! And then...the OCEAN! That stopped me in my tracks! WOW!!! Gorgeous....always beautiful! Enjoy your day! Hugs!

The trees in Spring lake are beautiful!! Loved the scarecrows think they were even better than the ones before and just can't go wrong with a picture of the ocean.
Looks like you had a fabulous day out riding your bikes!! Love the second scarecrow, guess I like the old fashion kind, I am going to try and make my own next year, well that is if we aren't gone a long time like this year. great way to end the day at the water!
I love those beautiful coloured trees and the horses look fantastic, but I must say that last shot of the ocean is a winner for me.
