Rhinebeck Baby!!

Unless you live on mars, you know I went to the
this past weekend.
I'm home...I am exhausted, and I have no idea where to begin!
Three days, 14 girls...we stayed in an Airbnb, and it was just wonderful.
This was a really big deal for me and I had the time of my life!

If you are a fiber person, a knitter, a crocheter or a hooker you will get this,
otherwise, you probably won't.
And anyone who thinks knitting is a dying art, you are mistaken.

I left Friday morning, 8:35 sharp with Liz and Sharon.
The drive was awesome,
the trees were beautiful, especially the further north we got!
We arrived at the house a few hours later and unloaded the car...that was no easy task.
Next, it was off to Buns for lunch, where they make the BEST burger I have ever eaten,
and there is a large group of girls that would agree!

I forgot to take a picture of the burger,
but it was one of the best I have ever eaten...

- half of my girls -

After lunch, we were off to a yarn bazaar,
at a church that was somewhat connected to the sheep and wool festival.

The Sherman Girls

The Billboard
My friend Leanne designed the logo featured on this billboard and the program,
and all of the souvenirs.

Leanne

Friday evening, Leanne and I
we wanted to recreate a picture we took 2 years ago and we did it!
We are both wearing our Farm Girl Shawls that we made, Liz designed the pattern.
We talked, we laughed, we knitted, we cooked...and we ate.
That was our Friday, I am already tired,
more tomorrow!

How lovely to get a peep of the fun you enjoyed, Debbie. No wonder you are exhausted! That burger does sound delish. Leanne's logo is fabulous; how talented she is. Love the smiling photo of the both of you.

Our DIL is a serious fibre artist, so I get it!

I don’t do any of those things, but I still get having a good time with like-minded friends, learning more about what you love in those beautiful surroundings. Love your big smile! *(oh and the good food ...I get that too!)

So glad you had a great time, sounds like Friday was full day in itself! I have seen where people cover objects with knitting or crochet but never in person, great pic of the two of you :)
