Gaylord National Resort...

During our recent trip over Thanksgiving weekend, we spent the last 2 days at the
They had a gingerbread display in the lobby that would take your breath away.
New to the resort this year, I was mesmerized by it's beauty.
- The Washington, D.C. Cityscape -
It featured The White House, The Capital,
many of the monuments and landmark buildings from the area.

Where's Waldo?

It smelled as good as it looked!!

Amazing! One could get "lost," looking at all the details. How people have the patience, to do such beautiful work?!?!?

I used to always think I would make something wonderful out of gingerbread - I know better, now... I do love to eat it, though, and look at all the wonderful things that other people make!

I am at a loss for words here, Debbie.
These are SO beautiful, and I cannot even imagine the amount of work that went into creating these.
My very favorite, hands down, is the Gaylord Pastry Shop.
It could not be more perfect.
xo.

Goodness the Gaylord Pastry Shop is my favorite from the first photo, and I think you liked it too, because you shared more of it. Very clever design especially with the windows and the delights inside it! Of course all the others are exceptional too, but that pastry shop is so darn charming!
