A Winter Wonderland

As you may already know, it snowed yesterday on the East Coast.
I didn't have anywhere to go or anything I had to do.
"Stay Home" was written on the calendar!

The lights on the back deck alway look beautiful when covered in snow.

We woke to this...

Snow on every branch of every tree...

The sun is out and all the snow is starting to melt.
We didn't get too much, it will probably all melt off today.
But for this brief moment in time, before it melted, it was a winter wonderland!

Hello, Debbie. It does look pretty. I do not mind if I can stay home and not have to drive anywhere. I like the shot of the lights, very pretty. You have a beautiful view too. We had close to 6 inches and it is melting today. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and week ahead!

Debbie, This is my kind of snow..here then gone.LOL I am amazed at the amounts of snow the south and east coast received. Be safe when going out, scary driving for many. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Oh how beautiful your winter wonderland is, Debbie. It looks just like a picture postcard. Love your poinsettias and the sweet little deer on your front porch. How amazing to wake up to that gorgeous sight!

Thank you for sharing your Winter Wonderland .. it is stunningly beautiful (most of those pictures would make perfect Christmas cards by the way).... but I have to admit I'd rather see this kind of beauty in your photos than experience it myself. (It got cold here in SW Florida since Friday night -- down to high 40s at night, but it is dry and sunshine... hope it warms up soon though).

I am just a tad bit jealous. Our ground is bare and I don't really like that at this time of year. These pictures are gorgeous.

JEALOUS....I am that for sure. I want a large deep snow. It snowed all around us, Marietta GA had over 10 inches. My friend in Marietta lots electric and went without if for 48 hours. I think that Ga. is less prepared than we are to deal with that stuff. Your lights look beautiful with snow on them. Box some up and send to me..... :)

I loved the photos of your winter wonderland. I really like snow so this would have been a perfect storm for me. Long enough to enjoy some sweet moments and then have it warm up and melt away.
Blessing and hugs!

Beautiful, that is the kind I like the most, they come and look wonderful and then they melt away when I need to get out :)

Winter wonderland is so magical too.
I love your photographs.

Parts of the UK have had snow, and we have been fortunate to see children enjoying building snowmen and having snowball fights!!! Laughter and fun was all around.

It was also a time to enjoy some good soups and casserole dishes.

All the best Jan

It's just beautiful, Debbie.
We did not have the weekend snow, but we sure are getting it today.
At this time of year, it is always such a welcome sight to me.
After January 1st?? Not so much! :-)
xo.
