oooooh "deer" - It's Been Hot, Hot, Hot Here!!

It's been so hot here at the Jersey Shore,
too hot for me to partake in many/any outdoor activities.
I am happy indoors, but prefer to be outdoors.
We did take a ride to Delicious Orchard on Sunday,
the walk to and from the car about killed me.
I was going to take pictures indoors but we have
been there, done that so many times, you can see it here and here.

Tomorrow, I am going to take some pictures of the birds - enjoying the bird bath.
I change the water every morning and the birds express there appreciation
by putting on a real show for us.

On the way home we stopped at Allaire State Park to see the deer.

I always enjoy seeing Bambi!!

I saw a semi-young deer going down the road yesterday. Luckily he was safe on the side, and not hit or in danger of getting hit

Hello, pretty captures of Bambi! It was hot yesterday, most likely the same weather today too. Stay cool!
Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!

I wonder what the deer is looking for in all that chopped up wood?
Maybe a new tender sprout of something green.

:) I lived in Florida 25 years before I saw a deer down here

Our temps have dropped, a teeny bit. Each drop is appreciated. I wilt and have trouble breathing, in heat/humidity.

No, not a smoker. It's just the "feeling" I get. And it is not nice.

So I am so happy to have wall unit A/C's, in the 2 rooms we use downstairs. And in our bedroom, upstairs. Very appreciative. Would not still be around, if we could not afford them.

Lots of cool, cool hugs,
Luna Crone

I get so excited when I see deer! This one is so sweet! I agree, it's too hot and humid to be outside very much. The humidity sure kicks up my aching joints! I don't really like to take pictures indoors, I feel like they looked so staged. I'm not talented that way! Hoping for a break in the temperature for both of us!

Love seeing the sweet little deer! It must be hard on them, too - no air-conditioning and can't take their coats off! We are having the opposite weather here - it's downright cold - only in the low 50's today. Alaskan air swirling down.....I've had the heat on all week. Why can't it be 72 degrees all the time, everywhere? haha! Stay out of the heat - heat stroke is not fun. xx Karen

We also had a few very hot days, believe it or not. Back to cooler today -- pleasantly cooler.

I am like you I don't do well in real hot weather. I am sure your humity is a problem there. Here is it is dryer heat. We have had a lot of rain and cool weather; but today has been lovely and tomorrow starts a run of heat. I always love your photos of the deer. Blessings and hugs~
