The Historic Smithville Inn

I wrote all about Historic Smithville in yesterday's post.
If you visit Smithville and want to have a great meal, be sure and eat at the

The Inn was all decked out for Easter...

the table settings, with cloth linens, always look like this.

I had the Beef Brisket and a double order of Mashed Potatoes,
because I did not care for the vegetable they were serving.
I had this last time we ate here and it is amazing.
It had a thick, wine flavored gravy last time, I asked the waitress about it...
and she brought me a big gravy dish filled with it.
YuM!
The hubs had the very boring Fish & Chips but I must say it was delish as well.
The homemade chips were like little fried scoops of potatoes.
Everything was hot and delicious.

One more shot of us in front of the fireplace -
in this one we sat in chairs, so you can see Mr. Bunny!

Historic Smithville, New Jersey - another fun day trip!
