Printing the Blog...

If you follow my blog,
you know that every 3 months I print my blog into book form.
Blogger offers a service, making it quite easy, and they often offer a 25% discount.
I get those notifications via email.
If you are interested in printing a book, this link will take you to their site.
I made a few mistakes the first time, if you need any help or suggestions,
you can send me an email at stangs6@hotmail.com.

Now, let's move on to the books.
I had not printed a book in 6 months,
so this time I printed 2 books, each containing 3 months.
I have found in the past,
that only 3 months of posts fit in to one book.
Depending on your text and the number of pictures you share,
more or less might fit into your book.

You can choose one picture for the front cover and one for the back.
Or blogger will choose for you,
the first and last images you shared.

The books always contain a nice
Table of Contents

I think the quality and layout of the pictures is very nice.

I always use this gray color and this style for the book covers, they all match!
They do offer many different colors and styles but I like them all to match.

I buy these numbers at Michaels and put them on the spines to keep track.
To date, I have printed 21 books.
I began blogging in October 2010 and I have written and published 2,199 entries,
if you count todays post.

In all of the years of blogging, I have never heard of this.

Oh, I love this!! Thanks so much for sharing,Debbie! I never knew we could make our posts into books through Blogger. I often thought to put my craft tutorials into book form. Are you able to decide which posts you can include or does it take your posts in successions?

Hello Debbie!:) How wonderful!:) Your photos are so precious and beautiful and it's a great way of preserving your photographic skills. I now see what you meant, and it's a great idea. I had no knowledge of this, and am going to look into it at a future date. We are off on a holiday (a bus man's holiday but never the less a holiday in the sun)and I won't be back for a while, so take care my friend. A big hug.:)

Oh my gosh, I did not know that you could do that! I am not sure what I would do with that many books though. Trying to get rid of stuff in this house I don't think I need to be starting that now...maybe later but it is so nice to know that! Awesome.

Your blog books look great, and I know of other bloggers who also do this.
A wonderful thing to have and dip into over the years.

Here's to many more posts.

All the best Jan

Awesome, girl! If you mentioned this before, well I guess I forgot (surprise, surprise)! Those look great; my blog is so different from yours #1 I don't take many photos (and, now of course with the new computer I can't even upload pics) #2 No one in my family knows how to find my blog LOL Hunter knows the name but not how to find it. It's not that I have (much) anything to hide; it's like something I feel comfortable sharing things that happen. Does that make sense?

Love ya!
xoxo

Wow, I wish I had done that when I started writing. Everything looks so nice and so professional.
Not to mention you have all of that beautiful photography.
I like it so much.

I would really like to make some books out of mine. Can you choose what ones you want in a book? I love the coves and format of yours. I know that your lovely photos would look fantastic in your books. Thanks for the links and I may have more questions. How soon I could really try to do this is debatable.
Hugs for this one!

These are beautiful--especially if one posts such wonderful photos as you do.
For me? Just something else my girls would have to look through and then discard, so...not for me.

It looks like their printing is quite good in those, it sure is a lot easier to look through a book for something then a blog, that is so great they offer that service :)

Such a brilliant idea to have beautiful books of all the lovely posts you have written. I think I will have to investigate this. Thank you so much, Debbie for piquing my interest.

This is a perfect idea for those days when a person feels a bit blue, or lost for words! A sure day brightener!

I'm still thinking of some version of this -- and I am ashamed to say I don't think I ever did write to thank you for the information you provided when I asked about it last time you posted about your books. So thank you thank you thank you -- for letting me know about it, for answering my questions, and for being an all-around inspiration!
