Love Locks!!

While we were in Canada, we stumbled upon a
"Bridge of Locks for Lovers."
The first time I ever heard of this concept was a bridge in Paris,
where they are now being removed.
You can read about that bridge and the removal of the locks here and here.

Just as we were leaving, because I almost forgot,
we purchased a lock to hang on the bridge in Canada.

The hubs wanted the perfect spot, where our lock could "see" the falls.

You purchase your lock and personalize it...
I used our wedding anniversary date, not the date we visited,

and wrote this on the back.

It is not a very big or long foot bridge,

so here we hang, with a beautiful view of Niagara Falls!!

You are suppose to throw your keys into the falls, but I view that as litter,
so we kept ours.
I knew I would be saving them in our memory jar!

Oh Debbie... !! You have a lock in Canada...when we go I will look for it!!:)You are so smart to keep your keys!!! We were in Coeur d Alene Idaho and walked along a pier and I saw locks and I wondered what they were!!! We spent our first anniversary in Coeur d Alene, I think we need to put a lock on that pier:)!!!!

Hi, Debbie. What a beautiful post about your lock! :) I wondered if you could tell me exactly where that bridge is located. We're going to Niagara Falls for the very first time in just two weeks (so excited!). I've ordered a customized lock just for the occasion, but can't seem to find an address/location for the bridge. Thanks so much for your help!
