Yarn Along

This is my proudest Yarn Along to date.
This Guernsey Wrap has been on my needles forever...
but I never grew tired of working on it because the pattern is forever changing.
I love the yarn, from Plymouth Yarn Company,
it is Cashmere De Cotton, 10% Cashmere and 90% Cotton.
Made in Italy, it was a joy to work with.

It is a gift for Christmas and I could not be more thrilled with the finished product.

And if you are wondering how long it is...

it's long...here it is drying on my yoga mat and it did not even fit!

But don't get any ideas about yoga in this house...
the yoga mat is for blocking and drying hand knits only.

I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for Yarn Along

hahahaha just as I was thinking, "wow, and she even does yoga!" I go and read that you use the mat for your knitting! You know that if I had a yoga mat in my house, it definitely would be for some other purpose too! That wrap is so pretty. I love, love that color. Nice work, indeed!

That is absolutely gorgeous!! You have quite a talent for knitting! I never heard of using a yoga mat for blocking- a great idea! I use my yoga mat for yoga (lol) but that's a story for another time.

Debbie, this is absolutely gorgeous!
I so love all of the different patterns here, and I think the color that you chose shows off those patterns just perfectly.
Beautifully done, my friend, and the recipient is going to be one very, very fortunate person.
xo.

Very pretty- and the lucky recipient will be quite pleased I am sure. Have a great day! (the last time I tried yoga, I pulled a muscle and couldn't walk for about three days...so yay for other yoga mat uses!)

Perfect stitches!
I never thought of using a yoga mat for blocking. How clever. I must go search for mine in the bottom of a closet somewhere and dust it off...

It turned out beautifully! Sorry I haven't visited in awhile, trying to get some things done around here before winter; going to spend the weekend with my daughter. My hubby is off to his dad's and hers is traveling, too!
