Saturday Critters ~ 123 ~

My goldfinches have changed clothes for summer.

The ladies are wearing their soft yellow attire,

and while out and about, they take plenty of time to smell the flowers.

And this one always keeps one eye focused on what's going on on the other side of the window.

She has a boy friend, he is shy and a bit skittish.
I see him everyday in his beautiful, bright yellow attire,
but I have yet to photograph him.

Beautiful photos! He may not be the social butterfly she is, but you'll get him. ;-) The goldfinches were here for a bit after changing clothes, but they seem to have moved on.

I always count on you to come up with something interesting for my morning reading. I can't think of any other bird that changes it's colours so dramatically as the Goldfinch does.

Goldfinches are the ray of sunshine that we need in our every day life. I love your commentary.

Good morning and happy Saturday! They have a beautiful spring apparel and isn't it wonderful that the snow isn't hanging on those branches anymore! Enjoy your weekend.

I haven't seen any so far! I put out a new seed sock hoping they will find it. Such a beautiful bird.

I love goldfinches. Today I had a family of house finches checking out my Boston fern to see if it would make a nice place to live.

Love those yellow birds! Also i liked the visit to the little town--Smithville i think it was? I love small towns. Loved the swan pictures too---shes so pretty and royal looking! I wonder how many eggs they tend to at a time? Don't think Ive seen too many baby swans
