Good Fences ~ Edition 104 ~

I have often mentioned here on my blog, that I live in the absolute best area of New Jersey.
When I leave my neighborhood,
if I turn left I am 10 minutes from the beach.
Turing right takes me into horse - farm country, again only 10 minutes from home.
Not that time is really a factor, the hubs will drive me anywhere I want to go,
but how cool is it to have the best of both worlds, so close to home!

On Wednesday March 8th we turned right,
bikes in tow, heading out to our favorite bike path,
we passed this beautiful farm and this gorgeous, friendly horse.

Her coloring was so beautiful, that white patch on her face so distinctive and pretty...
we connected immediately and she would not leave the fence post
so I could get a picture of all of her.

These are the moments, the moments in my life that I truly love.
Moments like these don't cost anything...
are nothing special to many, but so meaningful and joyful to me.
Out for a ride in the car with the love of my life,
and a momentary connection with such a beautiful creature.
And look at that gorgeous blue sky, life just does not get any better, it just doesn't.

I think you would all agree...the best things in life are free!!

Sharing today with my good friend

Good Morning Debbie!:) Lucky girl, you have the best of both worlds. Lovely white pristine looking fences and property. The horse is as you say, just gorgeous, but he did look a bit lonely on his own in that field, and was probably glad of your company. It's nice to make a connection with a friendly horse.

Those are the best moments. You know I do agree! I love being close to farm country too...and it's possible to get to the beach, but it takes a little longer, especially during snowbird season (darn snowbirds ;>)). So winning points to New Jersey! And also, "your" horse is prettier than "mine" today and sure posed better for you.

What a beautiful horse! Yes, I agree with you Debbie. The best moments are free. My new way of thinking is life experiences not "things" that sit on a shelf or what kind of car your drive. Have a wonderful weekend Debbie!
