A Christmas...p.s.

I visited an office building on Monday that was still decorated for Christmas.
The decorations were so pretty, I enjoyed them so much, that I wanted to share them here.

So here's another Christmas post, I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

In Newfoundland, Jan. 6th was Old Christmas Day. Many people left their Christmas decorations up until after the 6th. Then again, they didn’t put their trees up in November, as is commonly done these days. Trees started to appear of the sidewalk on the 26th here. Guess they were too dry.

I love to see your Christmas decorations any time. I am like Charles Dickens, "I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year". I also like to visit a Christmas shop that is open all the year. It's a good job it's a bit of a journey or I would be in it every day ;) So no, I will never tire of your Christmas posts Debbie, keep them coming :)

I never get tired of Christmas decorations and it is usually February before the last of mine are down. I remember back when we used to go skiing in Colorado.....Once we went in late January or maybe early February and I noticed so many had kept their Christmas lights up and it looked so beautiful in the snow. It was mostly colored lights but it was the next year I started leaving many of my white lights up.....and every year I use more and more. Here at the ranch, I keep a sequinned Christmas stocking up all the time. I bought it at a thrift store and it is so detailed and intricate that it deserves to be admired all year. For that matter, I leave fall garlands up in the camper so I guess all four season are represented here at the ranch. I'm okay with being a little bit eccentric!

Such fun photos of these unique decorations. You are right it is never to late to have a moment of Christmas cheer. Sadly, but in away happy that we haven't taken down our Christmas yet. My hubby has been busy with some temple assignments and it a job I need help with. We never get tired of setting in our living room enjoying our Christmas tree with a fire in the fireplace and perhaps even a cup of hot chocolate to make it all sweet.
Blessings and hugs!
