Farm Days

Every year, the last weekend in September
hosts Farm Days.

We go each year, it is a wonderful event, hosted by an amazing family.
You may remember that it was on this farm that I learned to knit.
They work very hard getting the farm ready,
decorating the area with mums and cornstalks...there are free hot dogs, chips, cookies and water.
Yarn and hand crafted items are on display.

On this visit, my first stop is to say hi to Peanut Butter, he was born this time last year.

He is a sweetheart, as gentle as could be.

This is one of the beautiful babies that was born recently on the farm.

And how sweet does that piece of straw look hanging from his mouth?

Two new borns in this image...

I titled this picture "Motherhood", it can be exhausting!

Teeth

It was a very warm day, here they are getting hosed off by owner Don.

Two of the similar looking babies.

Momma Maggie

oooooh those faces, they melt my heart...we had a wonderful afternoon!

Love the "Motherhood" title - ah yes ;D)
I'm amazed at all the detail you're getting in your photos... every tiny wisp of hair on them, especially in the closeups... you professional you :D) xx

Such pretty faces and oh those eyes!!!!

I have never seen them up close. Must be a fun visit.

Do they sell alpaca yarn there? :-)

that laying down momma has the right idea. No suckling if she is flat on the ground. Gives her a wee bit more time, to "replenish the stock"!

Love to see your smiling face, just knowing you are so enjoying life :) Those little ones are just the cutest and before I read the caption I was thinking the same thing about the mother all spread out exhausted :) That last picture of the closeup of his face is just precious, wonderful day out!

I do remember your previous visits, and I'm so glad you went again and shared these beautiful animals with us. As you say, they have the most amazing faces. I think, based on how they pose for you, that they love you as much as you love them.
