There's No Place Like Home...

except Rhinebeck...
This past weekend was my big 3 day weekend at the
I have so much to share, so much to talk about, it was a really wonderful experience.
I have never gone on a "girls" weekend and I had a blast.

This is the driveway leading to the big, beautiful home we stayed in...

The house was surrounded by woods...

except in the back, there was this beautiful pond, and spectacular view.

When we weren't at the festival, we were on the back deck, knitting.

Here we are, all 10 of us...

this house became home, and we had a fabulous time.

And here we are, Leanne and I...

Leanne wrote this on Facebook and it made my heart smile...

"This lady makes me smile.
She's no longer a Rhinebeck virgin, it means the world to me to have her with us.
Our friendship began as teacher and student and now we are family for life."

I am so happy to have this beautiful soul in my life.
We will be friends forever, because, well, Rhinebeck does that to you!

oooooooh and I am exhausted!!

I think everyone had a wonderful time!!!! And you are no longer a "Rhinebeck Virgin"!!!! -grin- I love it!

What a house! I take it, that people around there, rent out their homes, on this weekend.

Must be a big family, during the rest of the year. Although no, around here, the rich build McMansions, with 2 people living in them.

Rest!!! Relive wonderful memories. Plan for next year. :-)

Lots and lots of gentle hugs,
Luna Crone

I am so glad you were there with us. I am so glad you are part of our fiber loving community. We would still love you even if you didn't knit, but isn't it amazing what can happen when you pick up two sticks and a ball of yarn! There is so much more to this wonderful craft then just a finished object. It takes you on amazing journeys and I am so glad you are on that journey with us. You are amazing and your pictures are beautiful by the way!!! Now go rest up :)

I second Andee's comment. You'll never know how much it meant to me to have you with us. I'm so so so happy. I'll never forget this weekend.
And i will NEVER forget those kind words you said to me on our drive home. :)

Debbie -- what a fantastic experience. I don't knit (I don't do anything) but I loved the girls weekend and the joy of bonding. Love this.
