Yarn Along!!

I have been knitting a lot - a really lot...
When I love what I am working on, I knit more often and I am happier!

The Guernsey Wrap
Knitted with Cascade Yarns
100% Undyed Baby Alpaca Yarn

It is 21 inches long now...I am still pretty far from the halfway point.
And on a side note, I have been looking at my bird books more frequently,
as some birds look differently in winter and as others migrate through.

This wrap is just a combination of knitting and purling...
the way you join them together, is what forms this pretty pattern.

I am getting ready for my girls trip to Rhinebeck, New York this weekend for their
Sheep & Wool Festival
To say that I am excited is an understatement...
I am more excited than a seagull with a french fry!!!

A seagull with a French fry ....it isn't one you hear in Arizona lol. This the wrap would be fun to knit because of all the different patterns.

Beautiful...I love the color and you do great work. I decided the other day while sitting on the deck that I needed to get my mom a bird book. She would enjoy that. I have one around here somewhere but can't locate it right now! haha....with me there is no telling where I put it.

LOL I love how excited you are, Debbie! Your knitting is perfection!

Speaking of sea gulls; one time (years ago) I was in Daytona Beach with girlfriends. Two of us were sitting in lounge chairs, each holding a drink when a gull flew over and dropped a s*it in my drink. We laughed so hard! You're going to have such a wonderful weekend; I'm happy for you.

I just returned from a vacation down south and my daughter showed me her new project and gave me a book to pick what I wanted for Christmas! I rather liked the dragon scarf she was making for herself and that's the one I want too! Different colors of yarn though!
