Niagara Falls

The hubs and I took a few much needed days off and drove to Niagara Falls.
It's not a hop, skip and a jump...
It's a long drive from home, about 8 hours, but we enjoy the alone time in the car,
and I brought plenty of stuff to do and eat.
I brought my computer in the car and worked on deleting pictures, not an easy task.
I knit, play on my I-Pad, and we always have one game for the car.
This trip we played the...

"License Plate Game"
The hubs is driving so I check his off for him!
We are both kind of competitive,
only one person can benefit from a license plate, so you have to be quick.
We are home now, and we had such a fun time.
And we forgot nothing - no suitcase was left behind.

Pictures tomorrow, today I must get settled!!

oooooh and just in case you didn't notice, I lost 25 - 21, can you believe the hubs beat me?

I remember playing the alphabet game as a child. Haven't played in a while! Jerry and I always try to play some game when we're traveling like the alphabet game where I insist that the we find words in alphabetical order, the letter has to be first in the word, and it must be on some type of signage. That's a little more difficult than just finding a letter anywhere! Sometimes I make lists of things like unusual junk on front porches or unusual street names. Games help pass the time! Jerry usually beats me, too, because I get side-traced easily!

Hey, that game is not fair! He is DRIVING! You are not. How could he ever win, without wreaking the car?

I am looking forward to your photos in Niagara Debbie. The fun is in the journey, we've proved that every time we go on a road trip. Glad you and hubby feel the same way. The game sounds like fun.

You two are so fun! The game looked fun. Yup! Amazing that he won this one. Niagara Falls is on my bucket list when we travel to see Palmyra, New York.
I like the activities you do while traveling. I always have to have something to work on when we make a long distance run. I will look forward to your photos of this adventure.
Blessings and hugs!

I trust that you had fun. I have been to the Falls many times, especially when my parents lived nearby. I have a bit of a love/hate attitude due to the crowds and commercialization.

The licence plate game looks great fun.
I would feel sick looking at my computer or knitting whilst sitting as a passenger! Good to hear that nothing was left behind :)

I love your spirit! You two could have fun a cardboard box! :)

Brings back memories of when my oldest brother and I were kids riding from one Navy base to another. Mom kept us in "guessing" games. :)
