Snow on the Beach

Living at the Jersey Shore, the hubs and I enjoy a lot of short walks on the beach,
and bike rides on the boardwalk especially during the off season.
I always enjoy a visit to the shore before, during, or after a rain storm,
but have never visited during a snow storm.
It snowed on Saturday, and we took a ride to the beach during the storm.
It was snowing pretty hard when we left, we had to ride in the big Ford Truck,
which is "new" and handles quite well in the snow.

We braved the wind and cold to bring you images of the Jersey Shore during a winter storm.
The skies were dark and the waves were big - but it wasn't all I thought it would be.

- It was just cold and snowing -
So enjoy the pictures because I probably won't be doing that again!

Debbie, these are truly so beautiful. Especially the first one.
Thank you (and the hubs) for braving far less than ideal beach conditions to get these wonderful photographs here.
Happy day to you, my friend!
xo.

Well of course you had to brave the cold and wind to bring us those pictures. We never would have forgiven you if you hand't. Love the results. Now have some cocoa.

Wow, this is wonderful it looks so much like home for me! It is beautiful in other ways too, I know it will be short lived for you not so much the case for our winter!

I'm impressed! Seeing it snowing on the beach like that was ... I can't think of the right word... but I've looked through your photos a few times now and it's scenes we'd never see over here in Australia. Oh so cold of course, but dramatic and wild!
Your drive was an adventurous one and how lucky are we that you decided to go and share your photos. Thank you Debbie and your lovely Hubs :D)

Visibility was obviously pretty limited, but it's beautiful with the snow! The seas look a bit rough, too. A gently falling snow without all the other stuff is probably what you were looking for, but now you can say you've done it. :-)

Winter at the beach is really pretty.

The best snow pics tend to be after the snowfall if and when the sun comes out. At least that seems to be my experience for the most part.
