Nightscape...

It was difficult to photograph
An amazing night time event featuring projection lights and music.

The Entrance to the Conservatory

Exhibition Hall
A large lattice sphere suspended in exhibition hall,
creates a pretty reflection in the water below it.

The Cacti House

The Palm House

The Topiary Garden

There were 7 exhibits total but we did not take pictures of all of them.
We did not photograph my favorite display,
The Large Lake Show.
It was a huge 10 minute light and music show projected in the
Longwood Garden Trees,
depicting the changing seasons, colorful autumn trees and falling snow.
If you are genuinely interested, click here
you will get a better idea of the size and quality of the show.

The colours are breathtaking. Low lighting photography is always challenge.

I love the vivid colors - especially in the palm house! I haven't tried night photography, yet - I'm finally getting myself a tripod - so it may be fun to try!

Debbie, I think you caught the light display very well.
It's certainly something I've never seen before.
You've certainly 'wetted my appetite', I'm going to have to do some research and see if we have anything near to us in the UK.

Great post.

All the best Jan
