A Golden Glow

The last 5 days it has been raining or cloudy or both and
The Jersey Shore has been kind of gloomy.
Now don't get me wrong, I like rainy days and I love a good thunder storm,
but, I had almost forgotten what the sun looked like.

Yesterday was no different but right around 5 pm the sun came out...
half the sky was sunny, half was filled with clouds.
I had a feeling the sunset was going to be pretty, so I bribed the hubs to
take me to the reservoir for a closer look.

Lucky for us I was right.
Their was a nice chill to the air and the sky looked amazing!!

No Yarn Along today as I don't have anything new or exciting to report.
The wrap is coming along nicely, I am on the home stretch,
with 65 rows to go.
I am hoping to have it finished by next Wednesday.
Fingers crossed!!

Hello Dear Debbie
I am happy that you remembered me and you visited my blog.

Heaven on your photos is phenomenal. It's true, unforgettable theater.

I do not like rainy days. I love the sun, blue skies and warm.

Hugs and greetings.

Hello!:) Well, it was a good decision to see the sunset. These are wonderful dramatic and colourful skies and beautiful captures, with lovely reflections.

Clouds help make the best sunsets and the reservoir is a beautiful location to view them. :)

Oh my that is just awesome, I do think that a good set of clouds with some open bits in them sure do make for an outstanding sunset or rise!! Glad you were able to bribe him into going, you sound like my hubby :)

What beautiful colors, Debbie, and I just love the reflection in the second one.
I think sunsets are so much prettier when there are clouds.
