No exciting news on the knitting front.
I have spent several nights at the reservoir knitting
but it is possible I have spent more time people watching and looking for the
Great Blue Heron that hangs out there.
I am making progress on the
Honey Cowl
I picked new hydrangeas this morning from the garden for the flower basket.
I adore the mixture of colors the plants are producing this year.
Up close you can see the pretty flecks of black in the yarn, this yarn is called
Homestead Tweed

Your knitting is so pretty, Debbie. And to be able to knit AND people watch? Amazing. :-)
Belas hortenses e gostei do trabalho em malha.
Um abraço e uma boa semana.

Your hydrangeas are so pretty! I think it is wonderful to knit and watch people.
Summer goes by so quickly, you need to soak up all the time of enjoying people and bird watching? There will be plenty of time when it gets colder to knit :) I do like the specks of black in there. The colors in your flowers are just wonderful, such a pretty mixture!!
Hello, pretty color and honey cowl. It is looking beautiful. I like to people watch too but bird watching comes first. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
translate: hydrangeas beautiful and liked the mesh work. A hug and a good week .
your cowl is coming along so nicely. the hydrangeas are full of color. beautiful arrangement. i'd be watching more for the blue heron also. they are magnificent birds... have a great day~
I have been teaching Reed to say hydrangea, as ours are also in bloom. We I'll come upon ne in the yard, and I will prod: what is the name of that plant? He gets a bit tongue tied with that one. Xoxo Andrea @ This Knitted Life
Debbie, I love the hydrangea... it will always be one of my favorite flowers. My plants are producing so sparsely this year, I'm not cutting many. I enjoy the color in the garden. I haven't picked up the needles this summer, I'm trying to finish a couple of smocked outfits for my babies. I hope your week is going well. Hugs.
Oh how I love your flowers; it almost makes me cry that mine are not doing much. But, thankfully you share with us! :)
xoxo
It looks like it will be a cozy cowl!!
I've never been a big fan of hydrangeas, but I absolutely love yours and all those colors.

I love your photos!
The colors of the flowers are lovely. The cowl is going well. Knowing myself as I do; people watching would take over my crocheting. Hugs!😊
You do keep busy with your knitting. That's a nice looking yarn. I also wanted to say that I thought those flowers were gorgeous!
