Seaside, Hot Rods & Food Trucks

We were here on Saturday...

in Ocean Grove,

at a Craft Show,

which caused us to miss all the Hot Rods in Seaside this year.
We attended the show in 2014 and it was the best event I have attended in a long time.
I needed two blog posts to cover it, the first one can be viewed here,
part two can be viewed here.
We did arrive in time to see all the fun, vibrant food trucks.

I love all these colorful trucks.
We didn't eat anything, we weren't hungry,
we had filled our bellies with truck food at the craft show.

It was such a beautiful day with temperatures in the 70's.
But still, my heat intolerance is starting to kick in and I am beginning to rethink that
Bucket List
That may have been very ambitious of me!

  1. Excelentes fotografias e rulotes muito originais.
    Um abraço e boa semana.

    1. translated: Excellent very original photographs and caravans. A hug and good week .

  2. lots of color and flavor to choose from. i liked the 'cheezin' logo.

  3. Hello, the food trucks are colorful. I wonder how those Maryland Crab cakes were, yummy I hope! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!

  4. I wouldn't know what to start with first. Empanadas seem to be the in thing these days, and they happen to be one of my favorite foods, so maybe I'd have to try them all. Of course the Disco Fries are hard to resist too... I'm with you on the heat intolerance. It's hitting the 90's. Not my favorite type of weather.

  5. So much COLOR! I bet the cooks are dragging at the end of the day.

  6. Wow! I've never seen food trucks like that; so awesome! I was going to ask if you ordered oxtails, but y'all didn't eat from the trucks. LOL

  7. Lots of eating places to choose from Debbie and looks like fun.

  8. I'm suddenly yearning for a grilled cheese

  9. What fun food trucks!!! I think I would have loved to visit them all. Such a pretty place.
I feel for you and the heat.
    Have a lovely week Debbie.

  10. I have always enjoyed crafts shows but haven't attended one for a very long time. I am not crafty but I like to buy them. The good trucks are so colorfull and fun. I am not a fan of heat at all. We lived in Las Vegas for 7 years and it was not my favorite place.
    Blessings and hugs~

  11. The food trucks are entertaining just to look at! Looks like some good food advertised too. I cannot stand the heat--I stay inside most of the time in the summertime.

  12. Love the colorful food trucks and now I am craving some of that delicious food! Coconut shrimp - yum! Happy first day of summer! xo K

  13. I love all the food trucks, trailers, and tents! Very colorful! I bet there was some great food there.

  14. I could eat lots & make up for you too! Those are great trucks & stalls!

  15. I love these trucks, Debbie, and what a lovely are this is!

  16. Temperatures in the low to mid 70's are my favourite ... no hotter, but of course we don't get a choice, we have whatever the weather gives us!!!

Love all the colourful trucks, love that brilliant blue sky too.

    All the best Jan

  17. So many choices, so little time but I'm thinking that Ann's catering would have been my choice. Love all the fun graphics on the different trucks. To bad you missed the car show & the heat was getting to you. I don't handle heat very well anymore either.
