Yarn Along

I continued to work on my Guernsey Wrap this week,
trying to get far enough along to see if the pretty pattern shines through like it should.

But I made a big mistake,
about 6 rows back and never realized it.
That chain looking border stitch is suppose to be on the other side.
And I'm just not sure you can see the pattern the way you should be able to.

I also started another cowl,
I am going to give each of my nieces one for Christmas.

I love this Homestead Tweed Yarn I am working with,
with it's little surprise pops of black in it.
This knit will be perfect for bringing with me to the reservoir,
I need something easy, breezy, to work on while the hubs walks each night!

I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for
Yarn Along

Oh I hate discovering knitting goofs. I know it is all part of it, but still...how frustrating. Enjoying your cowl time at the reservoir wish we were coming with! Xoxo Andrea @ This Knitted Life

I love the colors you always use. Wish I could do that kind of thing; I guess when I got real "mature" I lost the desire. LOL

You talk about Chuck and how he can do so many things, and I know he does. But, don't ever sell yourself short, girl, you are remarkable!

I made a Guernsey Wrap earlier this year and I just love it. It's a fun knit and a very cozy shawl.

Mistakes or no mistakes - you know I would never be able to tell. I like the color of the yarn you're using for your next cowl.

I liked the flecks in the tweed, also. I'm sure she'll love it.

Bummer about the mistake, since I don't know how it is suppose to look it looks great to me. Knitting is so much harder to fix mistakes than crochet. Your nieces will love their presents this year, nice to have something easy to take along with you

I do love your projects. I think that your nieces will love these homemade gifts. Sorry, about the mistake; I couldn't see it. There is the tale that Native Americans in ancient times made little errors in there blanket making so they wouldn't be taken to Heaven. When I made mistkes in crocheting; I just reflected on that thought. Hugs for this one!
