Tween Mallards...

While we were at the lake in Belmar checking on momma swan,
I did spot some "tween" mallards!
Only 3 with momma, poppa was no where to be found, nonetheless, I was happy to see them.

they are so cute. I wish I could get that close to them, but I usually have Sissy with me when I go to the river and the ducks aren't appreciative of her going nutzo

I just LOVE these sweet pictures!!! I'm in the camper down here on the ranch this week and after coffee I will be going down to the tank to see the baby ducks! My pics will never be in the same category as yours but I hope to get a few of the new ducks!!

They're so fun to watch! I used to take Hunt to a park to watch them; in fact, took she and Rylan a couple weeks ago. One time we went, got out of the car and it looked like a hundred of them running up to us. We weren't inclined to stand around and watch, and when we got in the car they took off after some other people. :)

They are cute. I'd love to have some ducks, but I have enough wildlife that poops in my backyard. (PS - posting this comment from my new blog profile, which YOU inspired me to start...)

So adorable, Debbie.
I love how big their beaks look, compared to their bodies when they are this young. :-)
