If you look closely you can see...It's Always Sunny in Smithville
carved into this sand sculpture which sits right out front of
The Smithville Inn
Inside the Inn, it's decorated beautifully for all the patriotic holidays in summer.
Lobster was the menu special...the menu said 1 1/2 pounds, but I think it was bigger.
For 20 bucks, it came with a baked potato and corn on the cob.
Lobster, and corn on the cob, two of the big perks that come with living at the Jersey Shore.
Dinner was scrumptious!!
We dined to lovely music on this baby grand.
After dinner we walked around the area shops...
most were closed,
still it was a nice, quiet walk around,
and for the little ones, they have a working vintage carousel!!
The shops are built around a beautiful lake,
the still water provided this gorgeous reflection image I captured right before leaving.
They were having a car show,
the main reason we visited but it was small and a bit of a disappointment.
Maybe I'll share a few of those images another day!!

Hello, Debbie! Your lobster dinner sounds delicious. Very reasonably priced for lobster, my hubby's favorite. I love the last reflection shot. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
A nice outing and although I am not a fan of lobster, the baked potato and corn on the cob looked yummy. Love the reflection on the pond. Have a beautiful Sunday!~
Would love to visit here....beautiful.
Oh goodness too beautiful to list the many gifts there! What an incredible closing shot, and as for the shops being closed, that's okay, just seeing the setting of them is truly fun as well. What a lovely adventure you both shared.
Beautiful place with delicious looking lobster. I love lobster. The last picture with lovely reflection is my favourite.
Schöne Bilder vom Ausflug ja und der Hummer sieht lecker aus.

'always sunny' is okay. I'm from Sun City, and now live in the Sunshine State...but oh how I love to curl up and read on a rainy Saturday.

I thought the photo of your Hubs was cute until I scrolled down and there was that photo of the lobster!!! Oh. My. Gosh! My favorite food of all time. Really, the only thing I liked about Boston, on the times I visited. 1 1/2 # of fresh caught lobster, right down at Tia's on the Harbor!!! Love the little shops too.
It looks like a beautiful place inside and outside. Interesting places like this are what I love to find.
