We were expecting a storm on Thursday June 23rd.
When a storm is forecasted, I enjoy going down to the beach to take a peek at the ocean.
Most times, you can tell it's coming just by looking at the waves.
And the air feels different, cooler and saltier, the sand is somewhat deserted.
Point Pleasant, NJ right by the inlet!

That makes a lot of sense. Right before or after a storm can be some very unique weather.

Debbie these were wonderful. I love the beach fences. The Palm tree shot at the beginning was really neat and I also liked the one with the beach chair. Looks as if someone had set a tripod up to take pictures (was that you?) in one of the shots.
Beautiful pics of the beach and water, I love going down to the beach and enjoying the big waves coming in. Those were some dark skies that's for sure. The rocky point is so neat, gives interest to the beach! Hope you have a fun 4th of July weekend!!
