This is the BEST bakery I have ever visited.
Family owned...beautiful Italian ladies, the owners are sisters.
Back in the day, when I visited and they were there baking, they allowed me to take pictures.
If they are not there, the blonde girl, who waited on us, does not allow pictures.
She is stern about it and on this visit I didn't ask.
I used my cell phone and snapped a few images when she wasn't looking.
The shame is, I was not able to photograph the best areas of
the bake shop and allow you to see how small it really is.
This shop is smaller than my living room,
open in it's entirety, so you can actually see the bakers at work.
Scones are their main thing but everything they make is delicious.
In Spring Lake, New Jersey,
is a really sweet treat...and yes, the name is a play on
The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey
The legendary bar and home to "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen.

You took some real nice pictures Debbie. I always ask first. I have seen people scolded for taking pictures in a place of business. Some owners like to protect their product from reproduction.
Great photos Debbie. You would think they would enjoy the free advertising as far as the no pictures rule is concerned.
They know something about throwing things together pretty ;)
Good morning, Debbie! You are tempting me with all those delicious looking treats. I would think the bakery would be happy with your photo taking, it is free advertisement. Enjoy the nice weather! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
What a great place, and I love the fact that you can see the bakers.
The last photo here, is just beautiful, Debbie. That window and the reflections in it are really special.
Heavenly!
There must be a reason they don't allow photos! I was taking some in Shoppers Drug Mart and they told me not to.
Something about proprietary copy. They might not want people stealing their ideas.

I loved the play on words. It looks like an amazing place. So does all of the pastries. Too bad about that one lady not letting you take pictures. I am glad you were able to snap some with your phone.
Oh my, if I walked in s place like that, I'd probably buy a bit of everything! That's interesting that the one person doesn't want you to take pics.
Oh I soooo love the name!
Ooooh, how I would love to visit this bakery! Their treats look incredibly tasty :)
Have a beautiful week! Hugs!
They certainly look tasty treats and that last photo with the reflections is just lovely.
All the best Jan
Hi Debbie!:) I'm glad you got a few sneaky photos in to show us, and they are all wonderful. The cakes and pastries look delicious. Besides their beautifully decorated cakes, they also know how to dress their window for maximum effect,.. just a lovely place!
I love pretty cakes! Would love to go there. Do they serve different coffees as well?
Some delicious looking goodies! You would think if the owners allow photos that it would be policy across the board, but apparently not. Good job, though!
So pretty - everything looks wonderful! You are a naughty girl taking those clandestine photos! Lol! Love the jeweled cupcake stand. Pretty buildings in the reflections, too. x Karen
I love their window display, very inviting, draws you right in, and my do their cakes look good!!
Well, you sneaky little girl. I love the ones you were able to "sneak" though. I have never had a scone! :)
xoxo
My one daughter in-law has a business making all these delicious items of bakery.
When we go for Christmas or birthdays. She makes all this. The window display is beautifully made for attraction as well as what you said.
now i want a red velvet cupcake.
This is my kinda place. I love sweets so I am sure I would love this place. I particularly love Scones. My Mom used to make them a lot. Memories and yummy comes to mind. Blessings for this one~
