The 400 Yard Scarf

is all done and off the needles.

The yarn is such an amazing tweed,

it is six feet long, washing and blocking will all be done today.

 Next up, a Donnie hat...

with this soft, luscious alpaca yarn.
The color is a shade of green, one I don't usually work with,
but it is really pretty,
it is for one of my nieces boyfriends.

The needles have been very busy, as I started the Donnie Hat
last night. The hubs commented on the process of knitting,
he said he is amazed at how tedious it is,
I disagree!
Then he asked me to knit him a scarf,
I almost cried I was so happy.
I think this 400 yard scarf will look amazing on him!!
And how convenient, his birthday is Thanksgiving Day!!

It looks great! I knit a Dr. Who scarf a couple of years ago. It sure felt like a 400 yard scarf.

The yarn is so soft--I can almost feel it as it slips through my fingers.
I just finished a hat with my first pair of Bamboo Circular needles.
Oh my! I love the creamy feel of them too. I can see more sizes in my future.

That will be so nice for Chuck. I will wish him a happy birthday now. My grand daughter is due that day. I will be there instead of here. :) No computers for awhile. :)
Have a lovely Thanksgiving, see you in December Debbie.
