Night of 1,000 Lights

Continued from yesterday, today I will be sharing the
1,000 Lights decorating the Grounds and Conservatory at

This special event was all about celebrating Asian Heritage...

with Lanterns,

1,000 Lanterns,

music from Peter Tang's Chinese Ensemble,

and dance performances from The Little Mulan Dance Group
from the Great Wall Chinese School in Philadelphia.

All of these Lanterns are lit and floating in water.
This was really breathtaking!

 In the Conservatory's Ballroom,
you could create and decorate your own lantern.
This was really fun!

In this image, you can see two people walking with their lanterns.

The 1906 Restaurant is located inside Longwood Gardens.
Dinner was delish...

dessert was even better.

This was such a fun, special event...members only,
so it was not very crowded.

  9. Hi, Debbie! I am back blogging, finally. And I am enjoying going around and saying hi to my friends. I have missed you and I hope you are doing well. These photos are lovely! How peaceful and soothing the atmosphere must have been there. I'd like a mini-garden like this at my house to just relax in. Wouldn't that be nice?
