Continued from yesterday, today I will be sharing the
1,000 Lights decorating the Grounds and Conservatory at
This special event was all about celebrating Asian Heritage...
with Lanterns,
1,000 Lanterns,
music from Peter Tang's Chinese Ensemble,
and dance performances from The Little Mulan Dance Group
from the Great Wall Chinese School in Philadelphia.
All of these Lanterns are lit and floating in water.
This was really breathtaking!
In the Conservatory's Ballroom,
you could create and decorate your own lantern.

In this image, you can see two people walking with their lanterns.
The 1906 Restaurant is located inside Longwood Gardens.
Dinner was delish...
dessert was even better.
This was such a fun, special event...members only,
so it was not very crowded.

How peaceful and soothing the atmosphere must have been there. I'd like a mini-garden like this at my house to just relax in. Wouldn't that be nice?

Wow - looks amazing! So peaceful...and magical! As if a whole other world was created! I didn't know there was a restaurant there ~ only ever eaten at the cafeteria. Such a great treat!
Oh my I can only imagine how breathtaking that must have been, I love the white lanterns in the tree, looks like snow falling, so pretty. Neat to have live music and dancers too, the dessert looks like a great way to top off a wonderful evening!
What a lovely place to visit. The photos are awesome and of course I love the one of the two of you. The dinner did look delicious. It looked like a romantic type of place to visit. I am a romantic at heart.
