When we went to Hershey, Pa. for our Anniversary
we made a pit stop at Indian Echo Caverns!!
What an awesome place!!
Indian Echo Caverns is a limestone cave, over 440 million years old.
The temperature inside the caverns is 52 degrees year round,
so it's a great place to visit on a hot summer day.
Lets take a peek inside...
The tour took about an hour and the caverns are just beautiful!
And the best part of all...no cell phone service,
so no one was talking on the phone!

Love the photos! The caverns look truly majestic!
Absolutely breathtaking - have to make a trip there soon!
Hey you!
Went to Shenandoah Caves in VA. They turned out all the lights for a few seconds so we could experience "cave black" -the blackest black there is. Lights go out and the kid next to me goes, "yak yak yak, YAKYAKyak. yak yak-yak..." I finally shushed him with my sternest shush, and got to enjoy cave black in peace for a few seconds.
Great pix. Don't know how you always get such great shots!
it's beautiful - and just a tiny bit creepy. but i could sure use that cool-down!
I haven't been there in years, so your beautiful travelogue brought back memories!
It is just beautiful. I love caves. I am surprised they let you take photos.
I do need to go visit some caves. :)
What an amazing place this is, Debbie, and so many wonderful photo opportunities!
Wow. The caverns look lovely. I would have also liked the no cell phones. I hate using mine and not a fan of having others talking. There is nothing like good old human interaction.
It looks sooooooo cool there!!! I have to check it out!
I haven't explored a cave since I was a small child. These are wonderful shots and bring back fond memories. Thank you for sharing. :)
Beautiful shots Debbie!
Great shots!
Beautiful, and so mysterious! I visited Luray Caverns I'm Virginia many years ago. Now I have a touch of claustrophobia and wonder if I could do it.
You sure got great pictures, amazing rock formations!
What a gorgeous place! These are beautiful photos!
Beautiful photos of the cavern,Debbie. I did not know that there were Caverns near Hershey?
Amazing photos, fantastic place. I haven't been into a cavern in years.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing me a happy birthday Debbie. So sweet of you :) We had several family members with us on this trip but we still took our tripod just in case. Whenever we get it out of its case I always think of you and send you a silent thank you for recommending it :)
Such an interesting place! We have something similar in W. Fla. I went one time, and nope didn't want to go back. The claustrophia. (I didn't spell that right). :)
Looks Fabulous!!!!
Gorgeous scenery. @ 52 degrees, I could live in there comfortably!
What a fantastic place Debbie! The caverns look lovely!Great shots!
Dimi...
An environment like no other. You'd think you were on a different planet. Fantastic shots!
I love the colours. We visited one near-ish to us. It's much darker. Yours are far better!
They are amazing!
Wow, those are beautiful pictures of the caverns. What a fun adventure. I liked the idea of no phones. I think we need more peace in our lives and taking the tour looked like a peaceful moment of time.
Blessings and hugs!
