Last Saturday, we ventured out to Laurita Winery for their
Wine Tasting and Food Truck Festival!!
The Winery itself is beautiful...
both outdoors,
and indoors as well!!
The woodwork, brickwork and vaulted ceilings were spectacular!!
A peak inside at the gift shop...
spectacular as well!!
There were so many food trucks to choose from,
but this one, Red Hook Lobster Pound,
was the only one that mattered to me.
Warm Lobster, butter and a bun...this. was. amazing.
There was a horse ride for me...
some posing with the hubs...
and lots of picture taking as this Winery is just gorgeous!
Big crowds of happy people, live music and lots of gourmet food trucks,
this was a super fun event!!
check it out, it's an awesome place to spend the day!!
July 20, 2014
Yesterday we went to the Hot Air Balloon Festival,
and we had a blast.
I have lots of pictures to share and an amazing story to tell
about a chance meeting with a very special someone.
Stay tuned, it's a great story!!

Debbie, the winery is beautiful. And what a great day to be there with all the food trucks! The lobster looks yummy. Love the shot of you on the horse and the pose with your hubby. Great post, enjoy your Sunday!
aww, i love the shot of you & the hubby standing in front of the old car.
love the sign of all the food trucks. that was very wild ... so overwhelming to see so many choices. ( :
I visited this winery for the first time earlier this year. It was a cold day and not much going on then. But it was beautiful.
HI Debbie Loved seeing you on the horse although I don't think you are a rider. also loved seeing your shots with your hubby and the lovely old car.
Wow! What a gorgeous place and fun day! Wish it were closer.
beautiful place! love their silos, too! and the 'grape therapy is cheaper than group therapy' made me laugh. :) my sisters might disagree. ha!
you got to ride a horse, too! the seafood looked wonderful. glad you had a good outing yesterday!
How wonderful!
You guys find the best places to go and have fun.
Look at you on the horse! That's a great photo! :)
P.S.
Lobster would have been my choice too. :)
Gorgeous winery! I'm not a wine drinker, but I'd go just to see the place. And for the lobster! Now if it was a bourbon factory, I'd be all over it like Debbie on purple! :-)
Wow, that looks like a cool place! And what a coincidence: went to a winery in Virginia yesterday. Laurita winery just made our list. Thank you for sharing your photos! :)
Oh I am so glad you liked it there!!!! It is one of my favorite places to visit. The boys love the playground there and they never want to do the pony ride. I so love that you did!!!
I always see this place in wedding photography blogs. Looks gorgeous!
I would love to visit this winery!
Great pictures as always!
I can't wait to hear your story and what a wonderful day. It looks like it was a blast.

Dimi...
Looks fantastic! It's about an hour northeast of us -- so maybe a fall day trip for us!
That winery really is beautiful, Debbie.
So is that lobster!!!! :-)
YUM.
You always seem to find the most interesting places to visit and eat. We have (a lot) of Wineries here where I live although I've seldom visited any of them (not into wine tasting) but the one you went to looks awesome. May I just say too that your choice of food looked awesome. I would have picked that too.
What a very fun adventure you had at this fun place. I especially loved the pictures of you on the horse and your hubby and you by the old car.
Of course, the food looked good too. You find such fun places to visit. I am so happy you share the photos of these little trips.
Blessings and hugs!
You got to ride a horse! I bet that was fun. Love the sign that says grape therapy is cheaper than group therapy. Probably so. :-)
How Fun! Totally would LOVE to attend an event like that. I so want to eat off a food truck. There isn't anything like that where I live!
a beautiful winnery and lobster all at once. Be still my heart.
Now this is more like it! I was disappointed by the stop we made at the Sonoita Winery here in AZ a few months ago. I expected more. Looks like you guys had a perfect day! It looks like a beautiful place!
