Time For a Haircut!!

My Alpaca friends got their haircut...
talk about birthday suits,
they must be thinkin' "what the heck just happened"!!

There is a wonderful life lesson to be learned here...
and may I just add that it is one of my favorites,
"Never judge a book by it's cover"
Their gentle love and sweetness comes from within,
that didn't get sheared!

These images were taken on Saturday May 24th,
before, during and after my knitting class.

Cute critters. They sure look naked when they're sheared!

These are amazing - what is it about the personality that seems to come shining out of these guys?! I love the middle one - where he's looking right at you...like - lady, don't take my photo when I'm lookin' like this!!

Ever give a cat a bath? Exact same effect. Except the cat lets you know in no uncertain terms how he or she feels about it. The bather is on the bathee's $#&t list for a while. LOL! Great pix!

They do look even funnier after they have been sheared!!! They still look sweet, though, and I bet they have wonderful temperaments!!!

It looks like you were a little distracted during class :) You got some great pictures of them! I was giggling at them this morning.

They are just adorable, I want to pet one! Question? Are knitting yarn from their coat? Thanks for sharing Debbie, I always love your photos!

They are still as cute as can be. I love how their ears are still fuzzy.

They're just so lovable. Are you making them your next knitting project Debbie - jumpers (sweaters) for them? ;D) (oh silly me, I know it's getting warmer over there now - can't let the facts get in the way of a smile can I !)
In Australia, our sheep that are shorn in the colder areas wear coats made out of bagging. They're called "Nimmity coats" (the practice is believed to have originated from the area around the town of Nimmitabel in New South Wales). Cheerio for now :D)

Oh, that is so sweet, Debbie, that their change in appearance didn't change their sweet nature. That's a lesson we all need to keep in mind.

I love that quote that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. That is so true in our everyday life.
It's what's inside of us that counts.
The pictures are awesome and it reminds me that my little Sammy needs a good haircut.
Blessings!
