Saturday Critters ~ 26 ~

Our resident Great Blue Heron is back at Godfrey Lake.

April 26th was the first time I saw him this year,

of course, I have been stalking him...

I saw him again on May 20th...
I took 52 pictures that all look just like this...

I think he's over it...

already bored with my antics!!

I am super excited to be joining in with Eileen over at
for Saturday Critters.
Stop by and consider joining in, any critter will do!

This is the first year there have been orioles at my feeders. I saw them in the neighbour's yard last fall.

He is so elegant and beautiful Debbie, Did you follow me across the bridge today? Were you brave enough? Have a wonderful weekend.

How funny that his neck starts out crooked and as he gets more, uh, done with having his picture taken, it is ramrod straight

He's stunning when he's not "bored" with the camera. What fun shots. No wonder you stalk him.

Wow! Those are fantastic shots! Did you know that plastic blue herons are the new pink flamingos? I didn't - and out for a drive one day I made a quick u turn and snapped about 10 photos before I realized it hadn't moved a muscle. - lol! Yours is sooooooooo much better!

Wow Beautiful shots. One of these lovely guys flew up out of the cranberry bogs while I was trotting along in the pony cart the other day ~ oops Pony thought it was quite spooky and well the short version is the cart is now broken.

He must have been looking for you for a long time.

So much so that his neck is stretched so long.

I love great blues; glad you spotted and shared him. He was posing quite beautifully at first. (Know just what you mean by having lots of shots looking exactly the same... I do the same thing.)
