crossing the bike path as I ride.
Out in the field...
walking along the railroad track...
they are everywhere in Allaire State Park.
They are beautiful...
they are friendly...
and they are very familiar with the sound of my bike bell.
I always ring it for them, so they know it's me (wink)!

I would say these guys are used to seeing people and have no fear.
Debbie, they are gorgeous !!!
You showed beautiful scenes from the life of deer !!
Have a happy weekend :)
we have a herd that lives in the golf course/neighboring hills and they have absolutely no fear of humans. as "dumb" as they might be, they are smart enough to stick to the golf course come hunting season.
BTW - pretty park.
Hi Debbie!
Allaire is wonderful. Deer wonderful. Your pix wonderful, your bike bell wonderful, you wonderful, me wonderful... (OK, you can stop now, Maureen). Did I say deer wonderful? :)
You are like Cinderella with all your wild animal friends :)

Oh wow, how cool is that! Sweet critters!
They are beauties. I know a lot of people are invaded by them and lose vegetation, but you have to admit that they're gorgeous.
how very cute that you 'ring' hello to them! :)
Oh wow..that first shot is darn fabulous!
They are really smart - good pics too - I love to see them in our local park - Jane
Gorgeous animals! It looks like they're posing for you. :)

Debbie, your deer friends are so cute! They probably come out just to greet you! Wonderful series of photos. Thanks for linking up your post with my critter party.. Have a happy weekend!
I have so missed reading your blog post. I love deer too. When we lived in Washington they would come up to our property and sometimes eat the bottom of some bushes. My husband didn't care for that but we did love to watch them.
In an early era we used to hunt; but I don't like that idea any more.
Let's reconnect.
Blessings and hugs!
Oh Debbie, such beautiful deers! How lucky you are seeing them as you ride with your bike!Fantastic shots!!Wish you a lovely weekend!
Dimi...
These are beautiful but be careful rider gal. They do know how to leap.
Just keep ringing your bell.
Who know one may like a ride. Jump on the back one day or in your front carrier.
Now that would be a hoot.
Read all about it.
Deer jumps on Debbie's bike.
They are my very, very favorite creatures.
Just beautiful, Debbie, and how fortunate you are to have them along on your ride.
We love our deer. Most have gone off for the summer. Great photos!
Neat pictures! We saw three deer today but did not stop to take a picture due to traffic.
Gorgeous series of Deer Shots. They look fearless.
Oh my gosh! What a wonderful sight! These are great shots!
What lovely shots.
Nice photos. Deer truly are beautiful. Any one of Earth's creatures (or critters) is. I might not like them or even fear them, but that doesn't take away any of their beauty.
These are beautiful!! I'm especially in love with that first shot!
Awesome shots, Debbie! Love the bright green background! The line-up in the last photo is too funny!
Such lovely deer, and such beautiful green grass!
Awesome. I love deer and seeing them in the wild like that is always so much fun. These look very different from our deer (which I hope to post about this week sometime). Loved that last shot where they are all lined up.
