Sometimes the hubs and I just go for a ride in the car.
As we leave our home, turning left takes us straight to the beach.
If you turn right, the roads lead to our beautiful rural area.
Farms, fences, farm animals and country views.
On May 20th, we turned right.
I found this pretty fence and gate, on an old, abandon piece of property!
It was love at first sight and just perfect for today.

And trust me, there are a lot of pretty fences out there
that need to be photographed and shared!!

Hi Debbie You are right, this indeed is a lovely weathered fence.
Isn't it a blessing that no matter which way you turn it is toward Beauty?
What a decision to make .....beach or rural? Both are lovely to me! Pretty fence scene! Enjoy your day!
So pretty Debbie! Thank you for sharing your photos of your state!
Lovely fence..it makes me wonder what they kept in that lot..horses, goats, a garden? I love country drives- there is always something special to see just around the next curve in the road.
I am sooo in love with this awesome gate and fence. Down-home charm, for sure.
Here from my first time with GOOD FENCES. :)
Wooden fences are the best, especially weathered ones. Have a great day.

Lovely fence/gate. The weathered wood and all the lush greenery are just wonderful.
You are so lucky to have a choice of the beach or the woods. It is very pretty there.
For an abandoned fence it's in pretty good shape. I must say I'm partial to the weathered boards. Gives it such character. I'm glad you turned right that day. :)
weathering sure adds a lot of charm to some things...doesn't it...a great photo
