Super fun day in Cape May, NJ. Sunny, 75 degrees and skies as blue as blue can be, great weather for March 18th. We ate lunch at the Lobster House which is the very first thing you spot as you cross over the bridge in to Cape May. Lunch was delicious. I had crab cakes and Chuck had fried shrimp. I very politely asked the waitress if she had time to take a picture of us, she said no but she would come back. Long story short, there is no picture. After lunch we rode the bikes around the neighborhoods of Cape May. We stopped at a cute little park for a ride on the swings. I have not been on a swing in years and I would just like to remind everyone that "pumping" can be exhausting, I don't remember that!!! We wondered in and out of all the cute little shops and relaxed on the rocking chairs at Congress Hall.
Let's get to the good stuff, pictures.......
Let's get to the good stuff, pictures.......
we always get a picture here
at the entrance to shopping row!!!!
You can see the cute, old, quaint shops behind us......
I thought this one was cute, at the Cape May Firehouse
this is another favorite spot in Cape May for pictures!!!!!
playing in the park......
we took pictures on the swings but I am unwilling to share them

relaxing on the rocking chairs at Congress Hall.....
Cape May has beautiful beaches......
the shell searching....not as great!!!
the butterfly meets the sand.......
beautiful sunset on the drive home......
the perfect ending to the perfect day!!!!!
I will quickly add there were a few negatives, disappointments on this trip. Most, some of the shops were closed. No horse and carriage rides, my favorite part. Rita's was closed as well as Mario's Pizzeria. Mario's being closed was devastating!!!! They have the best garlic knot's in the entire universe and I always pick up a few as we leave the area and eat them during the ride home. Today's plan was to pick up 2 dozen and freeze some, that's how good they are. Still bumbed, but the up side is, I don't stink like garlic!!!!
