When we visited Longwood Gardens back on September 19th,
I never shared the pictures I had taken of the Orchids here on my blog.
They were all so beautiful, so breathtaking every one...each plant had so many blooms.
Each plant had its own name, but the photographs did not include that.
They were all displayed so beautifully on a wall in the greenhouse.
Above is a little information about the research and conservation
of Orchids, if you are interested.

Your photos are absolutely exquisite. What a great visit this was!
Absolutely stunning!! Some of the prettiest I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Thanks for the tour! I love the white ones with purple lines. Linda in Kansas
Those are absolutely beautiful!!--- great pictures. Long long ago , back in the Stone Age, lol--- orchids were the most sought after, coveted, and hoped for corsages for Homecoming dances, Proms, Balls, Sweetheart dances and the like. They were considered " exotic " and were expensive. I wonder if kids even wear corsages these days???
so beautiful, thank you for sharing those wonderful photos

The varieties and colours…gorgeous! Such a nice diversion on this cold and windy morning here.
Wow! You've really captured the beauty of all those orchids. I hope our orchids bloom again now that I've chopped off the old branches.
Oh my they are just gorgeous so many different kinds, I like the ones that have rippled petals. Such a fantastic display too!
I have been wanting to go here for the longest time and your photos are the reason. These are exquisite!
