Take It Easy

I am still recuperating and taking it easy after my recent illness/surgery.

We did pretty well on our Bucket List
I still want to make a pot of stew and have a game night.
Then it will be time to prepare the Winter Bucket List.

Here are some good ideas I found for November...

most of these can be done from home.

I have been coloring a lot, it is restful and yet my hands are busy, and most importantly, I enjoy it.

My KC Chiefs won again on Sunday night, they are 8 - 0, and in first place in the AFC West.

Look at all those blooms on my Christmas Cactus
I counted around 15 buds, it bloomed once at Thanksgiving but never this early.

I took this picture back on September 17th, I love it and never shared it here.
I found it while I was organizing the pictures on my computer,
an ongoing task that I am not sure I will ever complete.

The hubs went for a few bike rides on his new bike and sent me these pictures...

This is the Ocean Grove Beach/Spring Lake boardwalk.

On the way home after one of his rides,
he took a picture of this beautiful tree...

and sent it to me in a text...
we are still seeing and enjoying some really gorgeous fall colors!

I enjoyed the photographs you've shared here.
Importantly ... keep taking good care of yourself and get rest whenever you need it.
My good wishes.

All the best Jan

None of us will EVER finish organizing all our photos on our computer, but isn't it fun to discover a long lost favorite? I'm sorry you have to be in the position of recuperating and i wish you full healing soon, but meanwhile, I am amazed you'd found much to occupy you! All lovely. Get well!

The coloring pages are lovely, and the sky colors are so gentle. Just perfect.

Good to read that you are recovering, Debbie. Coloring can be a relaxing activity. We have fond memories of Ocean City too.

That last picture is awesome! Red Maple I think? The Chiefs game was a good one as well. Mahomes is a beast!

I like the idea of the Fall Bucket list that does not include big projects around the house! I definitely need to re-think mine...

Your fall bucket list looks like fun. We live about 25 minutes from Peddlers village. How did you make the Bucket Lists? I love the format!! Glad you are taking it easy and recuperating.

Wow you did a pretty good job of doing most of the things on your list. You found some other good ideas too. Your coloring is so pretty, I agree it is very calming to just sit and color. Wow your cactus is doing beautifully!! My Hubby does the same thing if he goes out without me, texts picture of it so he can share it with me still :)
